Mannargudi scout District level scout and Guides participated in the awreness program. Rajappa Dist. Coordinator explained the importance of vaduvur birds sanctuary and list of birds which are visited that place and getting the ramsar recognition, etc . Around 450 scouts and guides participated. Around 75 kgs of waste were also collected 10 saplings planted with the help of Forest officials Mr. vijayan and Mr. Elangovan

Today Muthupet government boys higher secondary school NSS volunteers made a trip into udayamarthandapuram bird sanctuary ,we made a cleaning activity and also engaged in a bird watching by using binocular given by the forest official Mr.Vinoth sir, earlier Mr,N,Rajappa THIRUVARUR DIST. NSS COORDINATOR spoke about the wetlands ,importance of wetlands,how to protect itwhat is ramsar,this bird sanctuary salient features etc,
