As part of the World Environment Day celebrations, a massive tree plantation drive was conducted across Krishnagiri District with the support of the District Administration and CSR partners. A total of 3.45 lakh tree saplings were planted during the campaign. In addition, with the support of the Forest Department, tree plantation activities were carried out in 7 wetlands, 50 schools, and along State Highways across the district. To promote environmental awareness and stewardship among the public, rallies, competitions, and various awareness programs were also organized as part of the celebrations.

A Wetland Awareness and Bird Watching Programme was conducted for school students with the support of the Forest Department. Students learned about the importance of wetlands, biodiversity conservation, and the role of birds in maintaining ecological balance. A guided bird-watching session enabled them to observe various bird species in their natural habitat. The programme enhanced environmental awareness and encouraged students to participate in nature conservation efforts.
