1. Competitions Conducted • Drawing Competition – 60 students participated • Slogan Writing Competition – 35 students participated 2. Prize Distribution Cash prizes were distributed to winners of each competition as follows: • 1st Prize – ₹5,000 • 2nd Prize – ₹3,000 • 3rd Prize – ₹1,000 Total prize per competition: ₹9,000 Overall total prize distributed: ₹18,000 Winners were awarded cash prizes along with participation certificates at the District Collectorate, Kallakurichi. 3. Activities Conducted a) Clean-Up Drive A clean-up drive was conducted on 30.01.2026 at Emaper Lake, Kallakurichi District involving 90 participants including NGO members and college students. • Quantity of waste collected: 56 kg b) Plantation Drive A plantation drive was conducted on 02.02.2026 at A. Kumaramangalam Model School, Ulundurpet Taluk with the participation of 60 school students. • Number of saplings planted: 20 (Mahogany) 4. DescIn collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (Mr. Ramkumar, AE & Mr.Boopathyraja, Green Fellow), Tamil Nadu Forest Department , Ranger Mr.Balu and Kuyili Organization a significant clean-up effort was carried out with the active involvement of 120 students from AKT Polytechnic NSS/NCC College. The event, held at Gomuki Dam in Kallakurichi District at 10:30 AM, aimed to address environmental issues related to litter and pollution.
