Towards environmental protection and sustainable development, the Government of Tamil Nadu has been implementing several pioneering initiatives for the conservation, rejuvenation, and sustainable management of wetlands across the State.

Guided by this vision, the Tamil Nadu Wetlands Mission has undertaken initiatives focusing on ecological restoration, scientific assessment, and sustainable stewardship of wetland ecosystems.
